Recent Accident & Emergency Compensation Claims
David represented a patient who suffered serious injury when they fell from a hospital trolley whilst semi-conscious. Although the trolley was being wheeled around the department, staff had failed to raise the cot sides, which would have prevented this happening.
David has also concluded a claim recently on behalf of a client whose x-rays had been misread. Consequently, her tibial plateau fracture (fracture of the knee) went undiagnosed and she was discharged without appropriate treatment. The consequent delay in diagnosis resulted in long-term complications which otherwise would have been avoided.
